Hello guys...
I've been using 1/8" 14 tooth flexback blades, mostly just premade olson brand ones lately, they work good but I haven't been able to find them for a few weeks and need to get cutting again. What is your preference? width, tooth, brand, material, where to buy? Any opinions would be nice. Thanks _________________ No, I'm not done with it yet.....

I use Lenox Diemaster 2 blades 1/4" 14/18. On thicker material I will sometimes use a 10/14. I've got some 1/8" carbon blade but what I've got gets dull real fast so I don't use it very often. The Diemaster blades last a long time. I had been buying blade in 100' rolls from MSC, but a roll is getting real expensive. I found a place on the internet: www.bandsawbladesdirect.com. They will cut to length and weld blades for you. If you buy 5 or more blades they have got a good price break.

What ever size you get be sure and get a bi-metal blade. They may cost 3x more than a flexback blade but I really think them will last last 6x longer.

Thanks guys,
I've been afraid of not being able to cut small radiuses so I've just made do with whatever for the 1/8 blade. I'll sure try the bimetal. Stewart, I couldn't get the link to work. Thanks for your help _________________ No, I'm not done with it yet.....

Chris,
I think it will work here. www.bandsawbladesdirect.com The diemaster2 is a bi-metal blade and is designed for contour cutting. 1/4" is the smallest size it comes in but you can cut a fairly tight radius with it. And like Larry said, the bi-metal blades will last a long time.
I have looked at your website several times. You do beautiful work.
