It all has to do with the number nine--any two digit number, when you subtract the two digits from itself, will result in the number nine. Example-12---when you subtract 1 then a two, the result is nine. Example-29--subtract two then 9 and the answer is 18--which is 1 plus 8 equals nine. NOW, knowing that the answer to any two digit number will be nine or multiple, look at the chart they give you ---every nine or multiple of nine is the same answer--so, they really don't have to 'guess' anything--check out the chart and you will see. I certainly hope this makes sense to you guys. It certainly made me fell real stupid ............until someone showed me the answer.
