Must have been an exciting chase and even more exciting when he got the loop around him.

That coyote must be retarded. Kinda reminds me of the time many snows ago when I was living south of Garden City and a cowboy called Big Ron decided to rope a badger. Kinda exciting. They had to whack him over the head and stun him to get the rope off ( the badger, that is). It would have been pointless to whack Ron. I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas. Very Happy

I've seen my dad rope coyotes and deer. One time My uncle tied a buck to a tree and took this old guy that could never hit a buck to kill it, but he got to close and the guy saw the rope. I've roped hogs before, bot you better be ready to swap end fast cause they come up that rope ticked off!

jim
i have some friends that use to rope wild hogs on a sunday afternoon then load them in a trailer and take them to the sale. from the stories they told about the wrecks and laughs they had i sure would love to have been there to watch. i knew a ole cowboy thats dead now but he was one of the funniest guys i ever met an we would be talking about cowboy horse and cow wrecks and the general ranch talk and he would always say there is nothening funnier than some poor s.o. b. trying to save his own life . lol reckon there is a lot of truth to that. hope ya'll had a happy holidays .
yourn truly
