We got a new 17" vertical band saw for the school shop, I didn't know I was going to get it(it was on my wish list) so I didn't order any blades. It's 131 1/2" blades what do you guys recomend for TPI we will be cutting from 1/2" down to about 3/16th, basicly shanks and rowels for the spur making kids. Thanks

I use 1/4" 14/18 vari tooth Lenox Diemaster 2 blades in my delta/Rockwell. Enough tooth to cut shanks well but won't hang up in thin stuff too bad.
