Two small plaques I sent out yesterday. When this
picture was taken, I had not yet done the final polish
so they still appear unfinished. The overall dimensions
are one inch high by two inches wide. The base material
is 16 gauge sterling silver. The overlay material is 1/10
10K gold. The gold was tinned with 45% silver solder.
After sawing and soldering I had 33 ties to cut. This made
me a little anxious becuse I had very little room to work
with to keep from messing up. Whew! Glad it's done & gone.

Best regards,
Greg Pauline

Nice job, Greg! Very clean... That doesn't look like it was a fun job to do, but must have been great practice for saw-work. I usually turn down these tedious jobs. Now I know who to send them to!

Greg,
Very nice. It never fails to amaze me how clean and precise your work is. Did you tin the back of the gold-fill sheet before you cut the letters out? I can't imagine how difficult it would be trying to tin letters that are that small.

Your work is amazing. If I did that it would look like one of the kindergarten
children did it.

Greg,

You sure have a good eye and steady hand. Great work.
